On the auspicious occasion of the upcoming Khmer New Year, Year of the Horse, Buddhist Era 2570, the National Bank of Cambodia organized a religious ceremony comprising the chanting of Buddhist protective scriptures and an alms offering to 120 monks, accompanied by a traditional Trot dance performance. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, and H.E. Khiev Sina, with the participation of senior management, as well as officials and staff, on the morning of 6 April 2026 at the National Bank of Cambodia, Sen Sok Building.
On this occasion, prayers were offered to the New Year Angel, Preah Neang Raksa Tevy, for blessings of prosperity, happiness, success, and well-being for the leadership, officials and staff of the National Bank of Cambodia, and the general public.
