On 5th October 2020, Her Excellency CHEA SEREY, Assistant Governor and Director General of Central Banking of the National Bank of Cambodia, attended the MoU Signing Ceremony between the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) and the Paragon University at Rosewood Phnom Penh. The purpose of the MoU is on the collaboration between the two parties to help bridge the gap between what the university offers and what the banking industry needs in terms of the graduate competencies. This collaboration will align the university’s curriculum to the needs of industry through IBF’s assistance. On that occasion, Her Excellency also mentioned that for banking industry, this collaboration will bridge the gap between the students and the needs of the market. Meanwhile, Her Excellency strongly believes that this show of support should serve as an encouragement for other industry in term of bridging the industry’s need and available labor force to develop the human resource in Cambodia.
