On 20 March 2019, H.E CHEA SEREY, Assistant Governor and Director General of the National Bank of Cambodia attends the Money 20/20 Asia in Singapore. This annual conference is a platform to bring the world's senior leaders across Payment, Financial Services, and FinTech to come together to network and connect over the critical developments shaping the future of money in Asia. In this event, H.E CHEA SEREY shares her perspective in two sessions on "Balancing Risk and Innovation" and "Balancing Risk and Reach". H.E points on the important of proportionate regulation as an enabler for innovation while mitigating the risk. Regulation that facilitate interoperability, digital identity, and data sharing is among other things supportive to innovation and potential for leapfrogging. On reachability, H.E. addresses on the issues of financial education, financial integrity, as keys toward building inclusivity in digital arena.
