Highly recomended by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia during the 30th Anniversary of the re-establishment of the National Bank of Cambodia on October 8, 2009, Preah Sri Eysan Voraman Economic and Monetary Museum (SOSORO) has been established by the NBC in order to gather information regarding the evolution of financial and banking system as well as the role of the Central Bank and her national currency in contributing to social and economic development in Cambodia.
Currently, the SOSORO is still under construction, and its location is on street 106, Sangkat Wat Phnom, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.
To discuss the construction progress and to prepare key policies for the development of the SOSORO, the first meeting of the Museum Managemet Committee, presided over by H.E. Governor Chea Chanto, was held on August 12, 2015.
